Normally, Desi glamour is all about making Indian clothes or Indian fashion look really glamorous and appealing to the eye. However, between the years 2014 and 2015, there were glamorous characters. However, not many of them had the Indian glamour. But nevertheless, they were just as glamorous as other Desi characters. I am going unconventional and a little nice and write about characters who were just glamorous, whether in a Desi way or not. Dolly/Madhuri Chawla/Bhagyashree/Priya - Dolly Ki Doli (2015)You have to admit, Sonam's look in the movie is low-key something we would die to gain inspiration from. With the choice of jhumkas, kurtis and leggings, you will definitely be able to revamp your wardrobe and add new choices for your every day fashion look. Dolly/Madhuri Chawla/Bhagyashree/Priya from Dolly Ki Doli was portrayed by Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. Rosie Noronha - Bombay Velvet (2015)Set in the 1960s, Bombay Velvet is all about retro fashion and retro glamour. The hairstyles that Anushka had just fitted her look perfectly. I love the choices of her dress and just the makeup... It just gives that retro glamour feel. Though she did not wear any saree in this film, or Indian accessories or whatsoever for that matter, she was nonetheless, glamorous. Rosie Noronha from Bombay Velvet was portrayed by Anushka Sharma. Farah Ali - Dil Dhadakne Do (2015)You have to admit, Anushka's character is a spunky one. One with lots of courage, confidence, energy and positivity. I just loved how she just made a pair of jeans look so amazing and the choice of tops her character just displayed in the film as a whole... She definitely gives young girls #FASHIONGOALS. Farah Ali from Dil Dhadakne Do was portrayed by Anushka Sharma. Ayesha Mehra - Dil Dhadakne Do (2015)Although Priyanka's character gives us #FASHIONGOALS as well, she however, radiates a different kind of vibes. Her fashion sense reaches out to young women and not young girls as her choice of clothes and hairstyles are more elegant and feminine. Ayesha Mehra from Dil Dhadakne Do was portrayed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Meera Malik - Dilwale (2015)This film was Kajol's comeback film to Bollywood. In this film, although she was mostly seen in Western wear, her choices of sarees in the song Gerua was just vibrant, youthful and attractive. Meera Malik from Dilwale was portrayed by Kajol. Ishita Malik - Dilwale (2015)Being Kajol's younger sister in the film, Kriti has definitely kept her character's style chic and youthful. Her choice of clothes is definitely something that every college-going girl would easily find inspiration in and would be able to get ideas on how to revamp their wardrobe. Ishita Malik from Dilwale was portrayed by Kriti Sanon. Kashibai - Bajirao Mastani (2015)Priyanka's look in Bajirao Mastani is something we all can die for. Her look in this film is definitely suited for traditional Maharashtrian festivals like that of Ganesha Chathurthi or Gudi Padwa or Krishna Janmashtami. Priyanka's look in Bajirao Mastani can inspire you to make good choices for your festive look for different Indian festivals. Kashibai from Bajirao Mastani was portrayed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Begum Para - Dedh Ishqiya (2014)Madhuri constantly dons Indian wear with lots and lots of elegance! Making her comeback after seven years post Aaja Nachle, Madhuri rules the screen with her dance moves and her choice of Indian wear. Begum Para from Dedh Ishqiya was portrayed by Madhuri Dixit Nene. Nandita Sengupta - Gunday (2014)Though she was also seen in Western wear, the choice of Indian wear that Priyanka shows in this film definitely is an inspiration for Bengali girls in particular. Bengali girls can find ideas on how to rock a Bengali look for Indian festivals, especially that for Saraswati Puja and Durga Puja. Nandita Sengupta from Gunday was portrayed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Mayera Sehgal - Bewakoofiyaan (2014)You got to love Sonam's office attire in this movie. Her choice of attire in this film is so attractive that even if you hate full sleeves, you would just want to check out Sonam's office looks in this film. Mayera Sehgal from Bewakoofiyaan was portrayed by Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. Ananya Swaminathan - 2 States (2014)Alia portrayed a South Indian girl in 2 States. Normally, we'd think that a South Indian girl would wear Kanjeevaram sarees and jasmine flowers all the time. However, Alia has changed that and gave South Indian fashion a twist. There was a twist because her South Indian fashion did not really look like a traditional South Indian style. It was something that a North Indian would adopt into her wardrobe as well. Ananya Swaminathan from 2 States was portrayed by Alia Bhatt. Dimple (Dimpy) Chowdhary - Heropanti (2014)Despite Heropanti being Kriti's first film in her entire Bollywood career, she has already set fashion goals for us. North Indian girls would love her choice of churidars, sarees and lehengas. And those jhumkas... My god! You would just want them in your collection! Dimple (Dimpy) Chowdhary from Heropanti was portrayed by Kriti Sanon. Kavya Singh - Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014)Personally, I loved Alia's look in this movie! She looked like that super cute Punjabi kudi, who would drive you crazy and happy. The choices of her dresses are just so vibrant and attractive that you would just want to add more Lehengas and Salwar Kameezes to your collection. Kavya Singh from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was portrayed by Alia Bhatt. Avni Kamat - Singham Returns (2014)Even though Kareena played a simple Maharashtrian girl in this film, her Marathi fashion was so glamorous that it looks like as if she is playing a North Indian girl. Like Alia's character from 2 States, Kareena's character from Singham has the fashion sense like that of a North Indian girl. What Kareena wears would be something that a North Indian would wear at least. Avni Kamat from Singham Returns was portrayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan. Gulrez "Gullu" Qadir / Sania Habibullah - Daawat-e-Ishq (2014)I just fell in love with Parineeti's choice of clothes in this film. Though again, it was not glamorous or rich, it was vibrant. Whatever was shown, I fell in love with it. Gulrez "Gullu" Qadir / Sania Habibullah from Daawat-e-Ishq was portrayed by Parineeti Chopra. Mili Chakravarty - Khoobsurat (2014)Being a playful physiotherapist, the colours of Sonam's clothes in the film clearly reflects her character's personality. I love the vibrancy of Sonam's clothes in this movie. She really stood out because of again, the colours and all the positive vibes it radiates out. Mili Chakravarty from Khoobsurat was portrayed by Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. Harleen Sahni - Bang Bang! (2014)Although Katrina Kaif was often seen in an urban avatar, you have to admit, her clothes definitely inspires young girls to remain youthful, yet stylish without looking loud. Her style was definitely vibrant in a passive way, and this is one kind of style that really attracts me.
Harleen Sahni from Bang Bang! was portrayed by Katrina Kaif.

I would say that the Bollywood movies released in 2016 and 2017 were just not as glamorous as those in 2018 and 2019. However, there were a few characters who stood out during these years in terms of their fashion sense. Here are the seven characters who stood out during these years. Sia Khurana - Baaghi (2016)Even though Shraddha Kapoor played a Punjabi girl who works in the South Indian film Industry, she has donned the urban Punjabi avatar really well. I especially loved her choices of Indian tops, Punjabi pants and jhumkas (Indian earrings) as the choices have complimented each other really well. Sia Khurana from Baaghi was portrayed by Shraddha Kapoor. Cynthia Pavri - Rustom (2016)Ileana's character was that of a Parsi woman who lives in the late 1950s. Back then, sarees were a big thing for every day events, especially in India. Parsis first of all, do not wear bindis as it is just not part of the Parsi culture. Parsi sarees are known for the pastel colour choices which are still vibrant, and, flowers. There are lots of flower prints on the Parsi sarees. I just loved how Ileana carried off the Parsi look so elegantly that she looked so beautiful despite being a Goan Catholic woman. But I guess again, the attires and looks of a Parsi woman and a Goan Catholic woman is similar. Cynthia Pavri from Rustom was portrayed by Ileana D'Cruz. Diya Jai Varma - Baar Baar Dekho (2016)Though Katrina was mostly seen in Western clothes in this film, when she donned the lehenga, she just won hearts of viewers. How she made use of oxidised Indian jewellery and matched the jewellery with a simple red bindi and her pink and red-toned floral lehenga just made us want to dress in Indian attires more. Diya Jai Varma from Baar Baar Dekho was portrayed by Katrina Kaif. Alizeh Khan - Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016)Although Anushka Sharma's character from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was a muslim, she really made use of the Indian attire without donning a bindi. Muslims do not normally wear a bindi, probably because it is not part of their culture I guess? I could be wrong though. But anyway, the way that Anushka made use of Indian tops and how she matches them with jeans and oxidised jhumkas and her hairstyle... Her style file in this movie is definitely an inspiration for any young Indian girl out there who wants to keep their Indian look as youthful as possible. Alizeh Khan from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was portrayed by Anushka Sharma. Aasiya - Raees (2017)Despite the actress being a Pakistani, she has made the Indian attire look so marvellous. After all, Pakistanis and Indians have a similar culture, North Indians especially. I just love the choices of attire, hairstyles and jewellery as a whole. Aasiya from Raees was portrayed by Mahira Khan. Rani Gitanjali Devi - Baadshaho (2017)I love how Ileana's character in this film looked so royal, simple and beautiful. Her saree colours are just so vibrant and the Kundan jewellery just made the look more vibrant as a whole! Though a small bindi would be nice as well, I do not think that the look needs a bindi. Rani Gitanjali from Baadshaho was portrayed by Ileana D'Cruz. Aarti Shukla - Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana (2017)Even though the movie was set in North India and everyone was seen wearing something low-key and not glamorous in a simple way, Kriti Kharbanda was seen standing out thanks to the vibrant colours of her sarees and churidars, the Kundan jewellery that she wears, oxidised Indian jewellery and bangles and especially her wedding look in this film is wonderful!
Generally, North Indian girls are really good with their fashion choices. North Indian girls generally pick positively vibrant colours that brightens up their look. Whether a North Indian girl wears a lot of Indian clothes or not, she will always know how to dress up well! Aarti Shukla from Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana was portrayed by Kriti Kharbanda. There are characters which show glamour and those who do not. For those who do, they display it in different ways, whether it is adding touch to your Desi look or making Desi fashion look really fascinating, you just have a sense of attractiveness or glamour, which makes your Desi look really appealing to people. I am starting on the series of the most glamourous Desi characters between the years of 2010 to 2019, where I will start with 2018 and 2019 in this post. Kumud Raina - Bharat (2019)Even though the film travels back to the time period between 1947 and 1983, Katrina still looked really glamorous in this film! She makes the traditional Indian look so beautiful that even Indian girls would want to take inspiration from her look. Her look definitely follows the saying "less is more" through her simple saree looks in the movie with a small black bindi on her forehead. Even if she were to wear outstanding jewellery, it still looks simple overall, which is actually very pleasing to our eyes. Nothing was overdone and everything was done smoothly and perfectly. Kumud Raina from the film Bharat was portrayed by Katrina Kaif. Roop Chaudhry - Kalank (2019)Alia's look was just goals here. How her look made use of oxidised Indian jewellery and how it went along with her hair styles... I mean, I just fell in love with her character, Roop Chaudhry's look the moment I saw the Kalank trailer. Alia looks like that perfect North Indian girl whom everyone would be infatuated over. I would love to get such a look one day and get my style inspiration from her (Alia's) character in Kalank. Roop Chaudhry from Kalank was portrayed by Alia Bhatt. Bahaar Begum - Kalank (2019)Though Madhuri's character, Bahaar Begum, was a courtesan in this film, she has still displayed some sense of glamour through her maang tikkas and her choice of clothes. The attire for Madhuri's character, Bahaar Begum, in the film was vibrant, not loud. It was appealing and sometimes, when one is too lazy to wear something elaborate, they can just take inspiration from Bahaar Begum and dress up this way. Bahaar Begum from Kalank was portrayed by Madhuri Dixit Nene. Satya Chaudhry - Kalank (2019)Although Sonakshi looked like the traditional Indian housewife in the movie Kalank, her look was just mesmerising. I loved the choices of sarees for her character and just the elegance it radiates. If anyone wants to look simple, yet elegant, they can definitely get inspiration from Sonakshi's character, Satya Chaudhry, from Kalank! Satya Chaudhry from Kalank was portrayed by Sonakshi Sinha. Rashmi Trivedi - Luka Chhupi (2019)Although there were sides of Kriti's character that showed the urban side to her, there were traditional sides to her character which had a little glamour to the look, which in the end, made the Indian look more appealing as a whole. I just loved her look as a whole and how she made the mangalsutra (wedding chain) and sindoor (red powder at the partition of the head) goals for us to wear for fashion. Rashmi Trivedi from Luka Chhupi was portrayed by Kriti Sanon. Sweety Sharma - Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (2018)Though Sweety was a sweet and cunning daughter-in-law in this film, Nushrat's attire for her character in this film has made her look really deceiving as a whole. Deceiving in a sense that she looks very sweet, yet gorgeous. Like somebody who could not do anything wrong at all. But nevertheless, her character was glamorous in her own way. Her fashion in this film is low-key glamorous. Sweety Sharma from Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was portrayed by Nushrat Bharucha. Sehmat Khan - Raazi (2018)Although Alia's character in this film was not the typical glamorous kind of Indian girl or someone who would wear amazing lehengas or bindis, she again, was low-key glamorous. The way she made traditional wear look in this film, especially her sarees, with so much simplicity and delicacy, just made us fall in love with Indian wear more often than not. Sehmat Khan from Raazi was portrayed by Alia Bhatt. Kalindi Puri - Veere Di Wedding (2018)Kareena's character in Veere Di Wedding was no doubt, uber glamorous. Though she was mostly seen in Western wear, when she dons her Indian wear, she is really glamorous, as much as she is glamorous in her Western wear. Kalindi Puri from Veere Di Wedding was portrayed by Kareena Kapoor Khan. Ruby - Sanju (2018)Even though Sonam's character in Sanju, Ruby, was shown as a very simple woman, she made the Indian Retro look goals, especially the fact that she played a simple middle-class Gujarati or Parsi girl in this film, though I felt that her character was more Parsi thanks to the look that Sonam carried in this film. Parsis do not normally wear bindis and the choices of sarees that Parsis pick generally would remind us of the Goan Catholic or Christian or Western culture. Ruby from Sanju was portrayed by Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. Suraiyya - Thugs of Hindostan (2018)Even though Katrina Kaif did not have much of a screen presence in this film, she has definitely made a fashion statement through her nose ring and the unique bindi shape. She has glamorised the bindi up and makes Indian accessories look like goals for us Indian girls.
Suraiyya from Thugs of Hindostan was portrayed by Katrina Kaif. Every occupation that we are in has a certain glamour quotient. Some occupations are glamorous, some are not. Today, we will explore the most glamorous occupations of all-time in today's century. And when I mean glamorous, it does not only refer to the fashion quotient, it also relates to how good one has to look or how fit one has to be and all of that. ActorsBeing an actor or an actress, no doubt, requires a sense of glamour quotient. Whether it is in your attitude or in your sense of style, an actor or actress will have to look attractive not just through her style and fitness, but also in her looks and attitude. SingersBeing a singer is yes, about singing primarily. However, when a singer goes for award shows of a country, whether it is an Indian singer or an American singer, he or she will be presenting their fashion sense at an award show. So, they will have to look good to impress the fashion police and to just present themselves well and inspire their fans to dress better and to be able to find their fashion sense. Makeup ArtistsBeing a makeup artist definitely means being glamorous. You are working in the Beauty business and you need to look good, attractive and healthy and all of that. You will notice that a makeup artist always has a good fashion sense because if you do good makeup, you want your clothes to compliment the makeup that you do, which in the end, makes you look more attractive as a whole. Fashion DesignersEven though fashion designers are not in the limelight often, they are known for the costumes that they do for actors and their characters in films, for instance, Manish Malhotra for Alia's character in 2 States (2014) or Priyanka Chopra Jonas's character in Dostana (2008). Fashion designers are meant to inspire people to find their own sense of fashion and to dress up well. ModelsModels are similar to that of actors, except, they do not work in films. Mainly, they appear in television commercials or their photos are used on banner ads or calendar photos. But still, models are required to look good and have a good fashion sense as they will inspire the youth to possibly become as glamorous as them. Fashion StylistsLike fashion designers, fashion stylists are not in the limelight. But however, they are the ones in charge of making their celebrity client look good. And before they develop the fashion sense of their clients, they are the ones who need to have a great fashion sense first because there is no point in having no fashion sense for yourself and then dressing up your clients. It's just... baseless. Do you get what I mean? AthletesJust because they are not seen in films or music videos, do you think that they need not have a glamour quotient? Wrong. They still need a glamour quotient to their style and personality as they will still attend fashion events and appear in commercials. They can be named as most stylish men as well. After all, they are role models to youngsters to dress up well, after all. PhotographersJust because photographers do not appear in the limelight does not mean that their job is not glamorous. Working with good-looking actors and actresses, good-looking clients and all of that adds up to the glamour quotient of the job of course. But also, when they have their launch events, that is when they have to look good as well because they got to dress well and according to the events. After all, working with fashionable clients makes you more glamorous and fashionable as a whole.
When we often shop for clothes, we often purchase the things that we like or that we think will look good on us. However, what we think will look good on us may not always look good on us. How so? Because of the personality that we carry. Our personality plays a part in our style and will act as a guide in showing us what kind of clothes will suit us best. And it's not just the personality that shows which style suits us, but our body shape also shows us which kind of style suits us better, though that is a minor consideration into the style that defines us. The main thing that defines what we can wear or what suits us best is our personality. Not everyone can carry off ethnic wear well and not everyone can carry off Western wear well either. Most of us would carry either wear very, very well. Very few of us can carry off both ethnic and Western wear well. And the few who can carry off both wears really well are the lucky ones, if you ask me. I believe that the girls who can carry off western wear better are the ones who are very vibrant, sporty, those with an athletic body by nature and all of that. Anushka Sharma is one of the actresses who carry off Western wear much better than she can carry off Indian wear. And by the way, just because I say that Anushka Sharma carries off Western wear better than Indian wear does NOT mean that I am saying that she has no grace or she is not elegant. Whether she wears Western or Indian clothes, she carries them off with grace. But for her personality, Western wear would suit better because is is more the chic kind of girl, youthful, energetic, young and all of that. Anushka can be really graceful actually. If you check out Virat Kohli's Instagram pictures, which is her husband's Instagram page, you will see that Anushka has a lot of confidence in her body language. She has innocence and grace as well. She is just a very chirpy and bright woman by nature who is really vibrant, youthful and chic by nature. And for that chic personality, Western wear would suit her better, even though she carries off churidars and anarkali dresses well. And now, let me come to those who carry off Indian wear better than they carry off Western wear. Vidya Balan comes under this category. She is definitely not youthful and chic by nature. She has her love for Indian wears and of course, having been trained in Carnatic Music, Bharatanatyam and some Kathak as she comes from a South Indian Brahmin family, that has added to the elegance in her personality and her love for ethnic wear more. If you observe this around you, most Indian girls around you who were either trained in Indian classical music or dance, tend to carry off Indian wear better than those who are not trained in Indian classical music or dance as Indian classical music and dance is something sacred. When you get trained in something sacred, it just softens your personality naturally. It just comes. Vidya Balan is definitely elegant and open-minded for sure. She is confident as well. However, her body just does not suit Western wear well and she does not have that chic kind of personality to make Western wear look amazing like how Anushka has it. Western wear just does not add to Vidya Balan's charm for some reason. I don't know how to explain it but yeah I think you will get what I am saying. Other than Vidya Balan's personality not being so chic and youthful, her body just does not compliment Western wear really well. And now, we come to the women who can carry off Indian and Western wear really well. These women will have two sides to their personality. It is like how we have many shades to ourselves. These women have a vibrant, yet really elegant side to them. Like for everything they wear, they make sure it looks and feels vibrant, yet, they carry it with so much confidence and grace. It's not easy to explain how women who can carry off both Indian and Western wear equally well are by nature. But I can definitely say that they generally have a very vibrant, glamorous, positive and elegant nature. Women like Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are really lucky because they can carry off both Indian and Western wear really well. Anushka Sharma carries off Western wear better than Indian even though she carries off Indian wear well. Vidya Balan just suits Indian wear much better than Western wear not just because of her personality, but also because her body shape just does not compliment Western Wear that much, well, unless it is a gown of full length and it has long sleeves. But otherwise, Vidya Balan should just stick to her sarees because she carries them off really well! However, the women who can carry off both Indian and Western wear well may not be necessarily trained in Indian classical music or dance. Sonakshi and Kareena Kapoor were not trained in Indian Classical Dance. Alia Bhatt was briefly trained in Kathak and Bharatanatyam. Priyanka Chopra's got training in Kathak during her younger days. It just comes down to your personality. Though again, training in an Indian art form, whether it is classical dance or music, just adds further to your personality. To know which style you carry off better, you just have to:
There are just so many things to consider when it comes to knowing what you carry off best. I hope you ladies find yourself and your style sense that represents who you are best and that raises your confidence level up. Though Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is weak in her acting, she has made a name for herself through her fashion style in Bollywood. She is the Rekha of today's generation. She is Rekha in today's times because people have stated that she is the most fashionable actress in today's generation as she knows how to make ethnic wear so beautiful and glamorous, creates new trends even with ethnic clothes and always invents her own designs and styles. She never copies anyone, though she does get inspiration and finds her own style. Rekha is a senior Bollywood actress who was known to be the fashion icon of Bollywood in the yeateryear generation of Bollywood. Rekha was known as the fashion icon because of the way she wears her sarees, especially Kanjeevaram sarees. How she carries them off so gracefully with traditional glamour and all of that. So, Sonam is Rekha in today's generation as she knows how to make ethnic wear look glamorous and is innovative with her clothes and designs and all of that. So now, let's dwell in to the fashion trends that we can pick up from Sonam Kapoor Ahuja. A wacky skirt with a white topEveryone often thinks that it is impossible to wear wacky colours as it makes us look loud and hyper. Well, that is true. But however, it is also false because you can actually make wacky colours look trendy. It is all about how you carry it off and how you match it with your top. Wearing a wacky skirt and a wacky top will make you look loud. However, if you wear a wacky skirt with a plain colour top, particularly white, it just makes your attire look vibrant in a positive way. Sonam is vibrant in her fashion sense. Ranveer is loud and hyper in his fashion sense, which is why he probably is not the fashion icon for today's generation of Bollywood actors. Deepika Padukone can never be the fashion icon of Bollywood as she constantly imitates other actresses such as Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai and makes it look like her own style. She has no sense of her own identity. Add a touch of Western to your Desi lookWho says that you can't add a touch of the West to your Desi look? Sonam has pulled it off so easily that makes you want to do it as well! Drape a double pallu to your sareeWe are here, learning how to manage a single pallu for our sarees and Sonam? She has handled a double pallu for her saree really well! A peplum top with your saree is definitely a unique trend!Who says that you need to be all conventional when it comes to sarees? You can even experiment your saree looks with a peplum top! During winter, if you want to don a saree, you can try wearing it with a peplum top! A vibrant look with earth tone jewellery just makes vibrant look classyYou can be fully vibrant in your wear. Again, vibrant in a good way, not in a hyperactive way. But however, if you are going to don accessories with your attire, please don it with earth tone items or leave out the accessories or use plain dark-coloured chokers and bracelets to give your vibrant look a spunky touch. Well, these are a few trends we can pick up from today's Bollywood fashion icon. When you try these trends out, you will definitely feel the difference in your confidence level and your fashion because you know that you are giving yourself a new identity and you are giving yourself a new you.
Everyone often has the misconception that your food choices only affects your health and that it does not affect your skin and hair and all of that. Well, let me tell you that you are wrong. Well, too much of meat, especially red meat, does not only cause obesity or cholesterol problems, but excessive red meat can cause pimples, you will get the figure that you desire. For women, ditch red meat if you are desperate to shed off a few pounds and to develop a curvy figure. Reducing not just red meat, but seafood and white meat as a whole, can help to make your skin glow and reduce your pimple problems. And one more thing, with lesser animal source like red meat, white meat and seafood in your diet, you will feel more energetic, positive and motivated for the day. Of course, as I have mentioned that I want to become a Lacto-Ovo vegetarian, a vegetarian who excludes red meat, white meat and seafood from their diet, I have taken my first step and have ditched red meat from my diet and also, have reduced my meat consumption and have started taking more vegetables and soya milk. I also add milk with oats into my diet and I try to take reduced sugars in my milk.
So, I have days where I go vegetarian the Hindu way, which is having no animal source and eggs, every Monday and Tuesday. I can vouch that I always feel very energetic and positive that I want to do so many things in a day. When I become more active and energetic, I am able to burn more calories in a day and just walk more. And the second benefit that I have experienced from reducing my meat and excluding red meat from my diet? I feel less bloated and less fat. I feel more secure with myself as a person. I would feel fitter and healthier without meat in my diet. Third benefit? My skin conditions have improved drastically. Last time, I would have so many pimples on my face and people would think that I have some skin problems. However, ever since I had the thought of turning into a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian gradually, I started to get myself to eat more vegetables in ways I like or whatsoever. I have started consuming Feta cheese in small cubes, green olives, cherry tomatoes, nuts in my bowl of vegetables, spinach and cucumbers. Never have I thought that I would love tomatoes and cucumbers, but now, I have fallen in love with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes! Ever since my skin conditions have improved, I feel more confident about going out with minimal makeup. I wear minimal makeup either when I do not have the time or when I do not feel like putting makeup on. So, I am going to credit my vegetables and soya milk for actually improving my skin conditions. And when I see such positive benefits for ditching red meat and reducing my chicken and seafood consumption, why would I not feel motivated into turning into a Lacto-Ovo vegetarian gradually? I want to look healthy and amazing, so I would do anything for that. If that means giving up something that I love very much, I will do it. If giving up something that I love the most actually brings a lot of benefits to my health and skin, why not? I admit that meat and seafood is something that I love the most! However, there are reasons that I want to become a vegetarian . I have three reasons for this choice and this gradual action that I am taking. But while sacrificing something that I love the most, I will also learn one really good value and that is to learn how to let go. There are things that I can't control, so why sulk over it? Sure the situation hurts, but I know that there is something better in store for me because I know that I deserve much better as a person. Much more than what I am getting now. I just have to wait, be patient, grow positively and work hard for an amazing future. She may be a Gemini by Western astrology, which is a masculine air sign. However, that does not define her nature and her grace. No matter how modern Sonakshi Sinha can be in her Western attires, we would always admire her in Indian wear any day over her Western wear! However, what is it that makes us admire Sonakshi in Indian wear so much? How does she carry off the Indian attire so well as compared to most actresses? Well, here are the secrets! You definitely got to have the curvesPersonally, for me, I believe that the kind of Indian women who carry off ethnic wear the best are the ones who have the curves! Skinny women can carry off ethnic wear well. But however, they would not be able to carry off Indian wear as well as curvy women do. And once I end off my Vegetarian Campaign series on the health page of my blog, I am definitely going to write about the women who have the body shape that women desire! You got to have that grace in your body languageBeing graceful is not about being weak. It is about being elegant. Even though Sonakshi Sinha is playful and energetic by nature, she knows how to get into her elegant shade, where she is all feminine and graceful in her body language. I mean, Indian wear is so delicate and beautiful. If a woman is going to be all aggressive in Indian wear, the Indian wear is not going to look good on her due to her aggressive nature. Have that sweet vibe in your natureBeing sweet by nature does not mean being a damsel in distress. Sonakshi is the kind of woman who has a versatile vibe. She does not only radiate a sweet vibe, but she also radiates an urban vibe. She is a confident person who knows how to carry off different wears well. How she carries off Indian wear will probably be different from how she carries off Western wear. But whatever it is, she definitely carries off both Indian and Western wear well, although we love to see her in Indian wear! Well, these are the only tips I have to give as of now...
