As I was reading plots and the story of flop films like that of Zero (2018) and Kalank (2019) and Fan (2016), I was like: What is wrong with these films? These films have amazing storylines! Why is it that the Indian audience can't appreciate good storylines and that they just chase actors? I agree that actors are important, talent is important. But the storyline is just as important as talent and the actors in the film. How the film is executed can always be improved. It is never perfect. This shows how the film is executed does affect the success of a film. But come on, the entire cast and crew have given their all to make a film. When I saw Fan like I think three years ago, I agree that the director could have improve and make it a bit more direct, but I think beyond that, the plot is so relatable and it is so realistic. There are fans who are literally that obsessed with stars and desperately want to meet them. There are even some fans who can scratch actors when they see them or write letters in blood to actors, which definitely creeps a celebrity out. So, yes the execution could be better, but beyond that, the film deserves success, much more success! And the film Zero, talks about a dwarf named Bauua Singh who struggles to find a marriage partner, and finally finds a companion in a girl with cerebral palsy named Aafia Bhinder, a scientist who works at NSAR in America. However, Bauua runs away from his marriage and gets close to a film superstar named Babita Kumari, who tests his first relationship. The love triangle between the three adults takes them to far-off cities, and gets Bauua to find his true love and purpose of life. Now, when I read the story of Zero, it was hard for me to understand. But the moment I saw it on einthusan.com, I finally understood the film and definitely the film has something good to teach us. Sadly, it was poorly executed. The film's execution, again, can be better. But beyond that, the film deserves success because the entire cast was amazing! Especially Katrina Kaif! She has improved her acting so much. And coming to the latest flop, Kalank. Honestly, this film deserves so much better! The music is amazing that I am so addicted to it, the main cast is amazing! They are all so talented. I read the plot on Wikipedia and I was like: This storyline is so beautiful! It's all about love and how life was before the partition of India. The characters are so beautiful in their own way and this film has amazingly beautiful morals that we all need to learn, like seriously. Yes, maybe it was a flop due to the execution, but beyond that, this film deserves a lot of awards next year and it should have been a success for the music at least! And then, there are stupid films which do not deserve the success, like Chennai Express for instance. When I was watching this film, I saw it and I was so insulted with all the racism and I felt so uncomfortable as half of the film was in Tamil and I do not speak Tamil. You can check out my review on Chennai Express here. Like honestly, half of Chennai Express is about flying Tamil cars and all the South Indian masala with no logic. And then there is another film, Bajirao Mastani, a film that is poorly executed in a sense that I got bored seeing the leads and that rather I enjoyed seeing Priyanka Chopra. She was the one who outshined both the leads in this film despite her being in a supporting role. I will definitely write a review on this film. I believe that Bajirao Mastani is a film with poor morals and Deepika, saying that Ranbir Kapoor is an unfaithful guy, on the other hand, glorifies adultery in this film and she calls it love. To be honest, such a woman like Mastani is shameless and disgusting in my point of view. She is not a woman of strength and courage, but a woman of selfishness, shamelessness and arrogance. Such films do not deserve to be a success. What will they teach the audience? That it is ok to cheat on your spouse? And men like Bajirao are shameless and selfish. Men like Bajirao in this world do not deserve a loving wife like Kashibai. Women like Kashibai deserves much better. Kashibai is a woman full of love, care and she is selfless. She values her family a lot and is a woman who has self-respect. So in the film, Bajirao is portrayed by Ranveer Singh, Mastani is portrayed by Deepika Padukone and Kashibai is portrayed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Even in Deepika's video of My Choice, it is so stupid that she states that it is a woman's choice to cheat on her guy if she wants, but then on the other hand, she says that a guy must treasure her love. Like, what the hell is she trying to say? That a woman can do whatever she wants? Well, if a woman can do what she wants, then a man can do whatever he wants as well. If a woman can cheat, a man can cheat as well. She can't get upset that Ranbir cheated on her because it was his choice to pick Katrina over Deepika. She can't go call him unfaithful on national television and then say that it is her choice to love temporarily or cheat in a relationship. Both men and women are human beings and can do whatever they want. After seeing these films, I realised that the audience, well at least 65% of us, are hypocritical in our preferences. I will tell you why.
First up, we say that films like Kalank, Fan or Zero are lousy and crappy. They have such poor storylines and all that nonsense. When in fact, the storylines are good and gripping. It is just the execution needs to be improved and there is always room for improvement. Whereas films with bad morals or no logic like that of Bajirao Mastani and Chennai Express, are highly appreciated by the audience. What is this? Like we Indians really need to stop having double standards and look at everything with an open mind and one standard of appreciation. People will say that I am biased and all of that but let me tell you, one film I did appreciate of Deepika Padukone's is Cocktail, because not only the cast was great in the film and not only it is funny, but through a comical way, the reality of the Indian society is shown. There are two types of girls, one who is like Deepika Padukone and one who is like Diana Penty. Parents would like a girl like Diana Penty (in the film) because she has more values and that she is rooted to her culture and girls like Deepika Padukone (in the film) are considered loose and slutty. Sad but true, Indian parents still judge girls until today. You want reality, good morals and logic and an amazing story line, but on the other hand, you appreciate things with bad morals and no logic. This is what I call hypocrisy in our standard of cinema preferences, as in the films. People need to stop this and literally judge films by the storyline, talent and maybe music. Executions can always improve and we need to chill on the execution part. Not every director is perfect and they always give their 150% into a film. So, let's just chill and stop being hypocritical in our preferences. Flop films that have an amazing storyline actually deserve a lot more success than hit films with no logic or poor morals.

Auntyji, you are a disgrace to the country, to the culture and to Indians living in and out of India5/9/2019 What's the video about? So recently, an incident in Gurgaon, Delhi, North India, occured. What exactly happened is that Auntyji (Fat lady with short hair in a printed Indian top and blue leggings) said some nasty things to a group of young girls wearing crop tops and short dresses in front of the whole restaurant. She told the young girls that they should be raped by men for the clothes they are wearing and also told a group of men in the same restaurant to rape them. So what happened after that would be that the young ladies did tell Auntyji to apologise for the nasty things she said or they would report her to the police and ruin her life. A woman in a navy blue dress stood up for the young girls and told Auntyji to apologise to the young girls for such nasty comments. But since Auntyji refused to apologise, the woman allowed the young girls to bully Auntyji and to ruin her. So, in this post, I am going to write my opinion on this incident in bits and pieces and break it down so that it is easier for readers to absorb what I am trying to say and what we can learn from the incident. Auntyji should not have said such nasty things to the young ladiesFirst of all, when I heard that the fat lady said such nasty things to a group of young ladies, I was like: Who the hell is she to make such comments? First of all, what did the young girls do to her that would trigger Auntyji to say such nasty comments? They are just living their own peaceful lives. She can't go on commenting on what strangers wear. Nobody has the right to comment on what anyone wears. She is crazy for saying such comments to strangers. I do not know how to exactly express everything I was thinking while watching this video. But as a whole, she should not have said such nasty comments to the young ladies. Who is she to comment on anyone after all? Men and Women are allowed to do whatever they wantWe know about the issues of gender equality and how many people in India are supporting equality between men and women. Equality means treating women the same way as we treat men. It is not about putting men over women or vice versa. If men can sleep around, women can sleep around. If men can drink alcohol, then women can drink alcohol as well. If men can make their choices, then women can make their choices as well. So that would also mean that if men can wear whatever the hell they want, whether they are naked, in bermudas or in a shirt and pant, then women can wear whatever they want as well. Be it short skirts, rompers or sarees. Women and men can choose to wear whatever they want. There is a philosophy called KarmaAuntyji has probably forgotten the philosophy of Karma. Whatever good you do, you get good back. Whatever bad you do, you get bad back. Since she said nasty things to the group of young ladies, definitely someone in her family, will be raped. Once that happens, only then she will realise that she has said such nasty things and will probably regret saying such things Treat people the way you want to be treatedIf you want to be treated with respect, respect other people around you, whether you know them or not. Don't go and shame other people for what they wear when you do not like to be judged for what you wear. Your personality defines who you are, not what you wearJust because a woman wears shorts, it does not mean that she is slutty. A woman wearing a churidar kameez or a saree or a burkha does not mean that she is conservative. What you wear does not define who you are. It just tells people your preferences. Who you are is defined by how you act. Coming to gender equality, following your values will lead to actual gender equalityWhat leads to gender equality is actually when we follow our morals and values. Following your morals and values leads to gender equality because there is only one code of conduct for both men and women. If you set different codes of conducts for men and women, it just makes people more hypocritical and definitely a more dangerous place for both men and women to live in. And by the way, God does not set different standards for both men and women to follow. If you are wrong, you are wrong. God does not judge by gender, he judges by our actions. At the end of the day, we have to answer to God for our actions. Auntyji deserves the fat shaming and slut shaming she gotSince she has shamed the girls for what they wear, I am sorry to say, but she deserves all the slut shaming that she got and she should be punished. If I were the girls, I would have directly called the police and filed an FIR against this lady.
Post the release of Kalank, I have fallen madly in love with Indian Classical Dance. From Bharatanatyam to Kathak to Kuchipudi... I am just appreciating these dance forms much more than I did before and definitely the music used for these dance forms. When I look at Kalank and the songs, Ghar More Pardesiya and Tabaah Ho Gaye, I just fall into a gaze. Sometimes, while looking at these songs, I just wish that there were more classical item numbers because I believe that it really unleashes one's talent and shows how much potential one has. After Alia's song in Kalank, she has proven that she has the potential to become the next big thing of her own hard work and just make sure she can prove that she is successful because of what she does and not because of Mahesh Bhatt. I have learnt that it is not always about being sexy or doing item songs like Lovely (From Happy New Year) or Sheila Ki Jawani (From Tees Maar Khan) all the time. I am sure there are audiences who get sick of seeing item numbers that really lack the dancing and is just all about shaking that body. We definitely want to see more proper dancing, and it need not be classical. It can also be something like Disco Deewane (From Student of the Year). But yes, a classical Indian song can just bring out the soft side of a female and unleash her feminine energy, which makes us fall in love and want to become more feminine in our energy. So coming to the main point, there are other actresses who have the potential and the look for a Classical Indian song in Bollywood. They just need an opportunity to be given to them and I hope that Bollywood gives them an opportunity in the future. These are the few actresses who should perform an Indian Classical Item in Bollywood. Sonakshi SinhaAfter several of her films, she finally goes back into her Desi avatar with Kalank, which is her latest release so far. Even though her role is not that big, she is highly appreciated for her character of Satya Chaudhry. But we did remember once, she did a Semi-Classical Item in her 2015 film Tevar. And whatever the classical moves were, we were stunned! After Lootera, Tevar and now Kalank, I definitely hope that Sonakshi does a role where she is given Classical songs to dance to so that her potential of being an established actress through her talent is literally unleashed further and that people look forward to her more. Sonam Kapoor AhujaAlthough her acting is weak, she is known for her grace and her fashion sense. There was a certain scene in her 2013 film Raanjhanaa, where she did show her Kathak dance steps and she was really graceful in her dance moves. She definitely deserves a proper Classical song to dance to. That way, she will show her worth and definitely people would start adoring her way more through her Kathak moves. Priyanka Chopra JonasNot many people know that our Desi Girl's got Kathak training during her younger days. In Bajirao Mastani, although she had one song, Pinga, she has proven to be a much more elegant and graceful dancer than Deepika Padukone in the song. Not just the song, she has outshined Deepika Padukone in the whole movie through her role as Kashibai. Post Bajirao Mastani, I really wish that she would get a Classical song to dance to so that we can actually see Priyanka's dancing skills and her inner self being unleashed further. Kriti SanonPost Aira Gaira, which is Kriti's latest song from the film Kalank, Kriti has really shown her dance potential and that she is more than the modern girl. She has gotten into the shade of the song well and her expressions were on point. She was also really comfortable while dancing and just lets herself become free, which is shown through her dance moves. After seeing her expressions and her dance, I really hope that she can take Indian Classical dance training so that in the future to come, she will be able to do a Classical song when the opportunity comes to her. In fact, the opportunity should come to her! Kiara AdvaniKiara Advani's latest film is Kalank, where she is a supporting character. Though she had a minor role in the film, she was definitely remembered for her dance moves in the song First Class, where she danced with Varun Dhawan. Kiara had smoothness in her dance moves and her expressions were amazing! Definitely she has amazing potential and it should be unleashed through a Classical Dance Item number given to her. Below are the songs that I have mentioned in the above article. Have a look and you know what I mean. I believe that there should be more Classical Dance Item numbers in Bollywood for women. One, it keeps us to our roots, as much as we are open to modern songs. Two, it really tests our Abhinaya (Expression) level and our Dance level in terms of dancing smoothly and gracefully.
It is easy for anyone to shake their hips or do a sexy dance, unless the moves are really difficult, like the ones that Katrina Kaif gets in her songs most of the time. So yeah, it is easy for anyone to shake their hips and do those kind of moves, anyone can pick that up easily. But, for me, I believe that Classical Dance really tests one's dancing capability. Classical dance, for me, just inspires a girl to become more graceful, feminine and it just brings out the best in her. I am not saying that there should be no modern-themed songs and all of that. There should be modern songs to adjust to the 21st Century today, but also, let us go back to our Indian roots and enjoy Classical Dance and Music to let us remember and appreciate our culture. Even a Classical song can be as popular as an item song like Sheila Ki Jawani form 2010 Hindi film Tees Maar Khan. Children are just kids who bring us happiness. From their innocence to their cheekiness to their curiosity to their talent... There is just so many things about them that actually makes us vulnerable, emotionally. Vulnerable in the sense where we just become soft in our hearts and we just become our emotional selves. We know that with kids, it is impossible for us to be tough and mean, and why should we even be mean to children? When they are the most innocent and purest form of people we can ever find on this earth full of ruthless and fake people. So recently, I have been watching a lot of Taimur Ali Khan's videos and boy, I am madly in love with him, not in a sexual way of course, but in a way where I want to pamper the child and give a child a lot of love. When I see Taimur's articles on Facebook or wherever, I do feel bad that the media sometimes makes him look so funny, but then otherwise, his innocence and cheeky personality is what gets to me. I just find him super cute that I probably can't stop gushing over him. When I feel down and I just see photos or articles on Taimur, a smile just comes up on my face. I definitely look forward to seeing the latest pictures and videos of baby Pataudi in the future to come. Other than Taimur Ali Khan, I have been seeing another child's videos and photos, Ziva Singh Dhoni. Ziva is the daughter of Indian Cricket player Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Ziva is another star child who has her popularity high up there, other than Taimur of course. Ziva is very cheeky in her personality, she is very bright and innocent, which is what makes her really adorable. Of course, she looks innocent as well. Like Taimur, whatever she does just makes us smile. Especially her bond with Dhoni is something every child wants to have with his or her parent. After seeing videos of a lot of children and not just Ziva and Taimur, I have come to learn that the rest of us actually need to learn a lot of things from children around the world. First up, we need to learn how to be pure and genuine. We should be ourselves and be happy with who we are. Being happy with yourself means accepting you for you and improving yourself for your own good. There is no point in becoming someone we are not just to satisfy those around us. Why is it that we adore children so much? Because they are genuine. They do not know how to become someone they are not. And that is good. What we should be teaching children is to become a better version of themselves and while they do that, they should find out who they are in their journey of life. Secondly, we need to learn patience. I admit that I am an impatient and hot-tempered person and I can get angry easily and sometimes, lose my temper and go berserk. But whenever I am with children, my soft side just comes out. I can never imagine myself raising my hand at children or screaming or swearing at them because that makes me look really bad as a human being as a whole. I mean, children are innocent, have no bad intentions and have not harmed me, so why do I want to harm them? You get my point? Children will teach us patience in terms of dealing with everything around us with love, calamity and understanding rather than becoming violent. That way, we will also not become too arrogant and bossy and we will know that children are as much a human being as we all are. Rich or poor, dark or fair, beautiful or not, a child is a child. Every child should be treated equally and that is when we learn to treat everyone around us equally with respect, if not love at least. Three, I feel that children will teach us a lot about confidence. For them, they do not know the meaning of being self-conscious and they just do what they want to do because they want to do it. They do not know whether it is morally right or not. They will just go on with it. If it is wrong, we should definitely correct them with love and understanding and guide them and teach them what is right. If it is right, nurture them and reward them. During this phase, support kids for the talents and passions they develop. If a child likes to sing, encourage him to sing by sending him for singing classes. If he loves martial arts, send him for Taekwondo classes. If he loves to write, encourage him by getting him books or taking him to Literature events. A child's talent also plays a part in their identity. This will be one way of them being themselves and expressing who they are. I only love children more day by day because of their innocence, passion, confidence, pure heart and humility. Definitely when I see children, I want to have children of my own one day, a son and a daughter so that I can bring up the best of both worlds in terms of gender. Other than looking forward to having a successful career in the future, I would also look forward to the phase of motherhood and family. All I want is my professional and personal life to be successful in the end and I want to manage both sides well. Children just inspire me to become a better version of myself every day and I definitely value and love children very highly.
Children are definitely in this world for a reason. They are here to teach us a lot of things that we have forgotten as we grow up into adults. Now, what it loving yourself? Many people will say that it is about accepting yourself for who you are. Yes, it is about accepting you for you. But then, you can't just say that I accept me for me and then not take care of your health. Self-love is not only about accepting yourself for you. It is also about taking care of your health, growing into a strong, confident and dignified person, dressing in a way that makes you look best and that makes you feel very comfortable in your own skin. There are many factors that actually contribute to self-love. Self-love is also about nurturing yourself. So... How can we love ourselves? Accept your body the way it isFirst of all, accept your body the way it is. When you do, you will find peace with yourself. If your body shape is this way it is this way. What is more important is that you are declared healthy by the doctor. If you have a super thick or curvy figure but the doctor says that you are healthy, then embrace it and just focus on keeping your health in good condition. If your figure is straight like a rectangle, then embrace it and focus on your health. What is more important is that you are in good condition to live every single day of your life and to be thankful to the Lord that you are alive. Exercise for your healthExercise is important in our lives only so that we can be in a positive health condition. Exercising to look good is secondary. What is more important is that you are healthy. Find an exercise regime that suits your personality and patience level. If you are not patient by nature and that you just have lots of stored energy, avoid doing yoga and just focus on cycling or runs... Or you can consider the gym. However if you are conscious of working out in front of many people, go for runs in the woods. However if you are someone who likes it slow and outdoors and you hate noise, then yoga or pilates classes would be the best thing to do. If you want a fun workout, then do a dance form that keeps you happy. Be it Hip-Hop or Bharatanatyam or Salsa or Kathak. When you workout, you should feel happy and not dreaded. So, find a workout that keeps you happy and motivated to be healthy. Spend some alone timeSometimes, we need some alone time with ourselves. We can't be with people all the time because then how will we be able to conduct the next day's activities? Also, we can't constantly isolate ourselves from people or else we would be depressed. We need the good people around us at all times. When we are alone, we get to know ourselves better, to reflect our thoughts and the day, to find peace and to thank God for the day and to talk to ourselves inside our hearts or through writing it out. Pick role models that impress you and inspire youWhen we pick our role models, we have to be careful because who we pick can affect our mental health and personality as well. If we pick someone who shames people on National Television, who is skinny and makes other healthy-looking girls look fat and ugly, who imitates other people and is not herself like Deepika Padukone, then we become such a person. Other than becoming that kind of a person, when we set such high physique standards such as that of Deepika Padukone, who is really skinny, we would push ourself to become like that and we become desperate. When we become desperate to have Deepika's figure, then we would go to any extreme to get it rather than take the healthy way. Starving would not make a difference to us. But, it will make a difference to our health. We will face health problems and eventually gain weight because once you stop starving, you will binge eat and lose control over your food. Plus, your craving levels will not stop. So, I would suggest pick a role model who inspires you to be healthy, to be yourself, to conduct yourself with class, to brings others up without dropping yourself down... Someone who just inspires you as a whole. My role model will be different from your role model because the kind of woman I want to be when I grow up would be different from the kind of woman you want to be when you grow up. Eat everything, but in moderationStarving is definitely not the way to go when you want to improve your health conditions. One, you will lost out on all your essential nutrients. Two, you will not have the energy to conduct your daily activities. However, binge eating on unhealthy food is also not good because it leads to health problems such as cardiovascular diseases, weight gain and all of that. Plus, we would not be able to fit into the clothes we want to wear eventually. What we should do is definitely eat everything, including vegetables and fruits. Eat healthy as much as possible so that we can get our essential nutrients. This does not mean be strict and live on vegetables and fruits. Have to cheat meals once in a while like desserts or maybe fried chicken. It is best to have every single thing, but in moderation, so that we can be happy and also be able to keep a healthy diet. I think you will know what I mean. Do what makes you happyWhen you do what makes you happy, you will be satisfied with yourself. Whether it is cheering your boyfriend at the stadium or dancing your heart out or watching your girlfriend's dance performance or drawing or painting, it should make you happy and give you positive thoughts. Doing what makes you happy also keeps your mental health in good condition. You will look forward to the next day and look forward to being with your loved ones and doing new activities. Oh! And while you do things that makes you happy, it definitely gives you an opportunity of knowing yourself better and finding your identity. Wear clothes that makes you look at your bestWhen you dress yourself up, you got to first, dress in clothes that:
When you do that, you will think to yourself that you look great and you will be happy with who you are. An inverted triangle shaped woman cannot be wearing what an apple body shape woman wears because her assets will not be shown. Everyone's body shape is different. I know we all want the hourglass body shape but not all of us have it. We need to wear something that highlights your body shape and assets and that is what will make us feel good. Keep yourself around positive energyWhen you are with positive energy, you will feel very comfortable in your own skin. You will be able to be your confident self and you will not feel judged. Pick people who will accept you for who you are and those who are genuine because such people will make you feel very comfortable in your own skin, plus, they are very relatable people. Now, get this straight, loving yourself does not mean being selfish and narcissistic. Loving yourself helps you love others around you and to boost others up. Being selfish and narcissistic just makes you self-obsessed, which can eventually lead you to being lonely for the rest of your life. Remember, love yourself, take care of yourself, but do not be self-obsessed and make others feel inferior to you. Oh! And the main role models above in this post are just five out of 11 of them. :)
Why I pity people like Hardik Pandya and Ranbir Kapoor more than I pity people Deepika Padukone4/11/2019 Now, I know this is a very personal post, where I share my frank and direct opinions on celebrities. I know many people are going to disagree with me just because of what we hear on television or through news pages. But after hearing about the controversy that Hardik got into and knowing what he said, I knew what he did was wrong as it could lead to lots of misunderstandings as most Indians are narrow-minded and hypocritical. Ranbir also has a bad image of being known as a playboy thanks to Deepika Padukone making him look bad on National television. Below, I am going to share some of my reasons on why I would pity Hardik Pandya and Ranbir Kapoor more than I would pity somebody like Deepika Padukone. First up, I think Hardik did not mean any harm with his comment. I just think that yes, he should not have said it on television as many people are going to go berserk and misunderstand him. Only open-minded people will understand where he is coming from. Ok so for those who do not know what I am talking about, when Karan asked Hardik about him not asking a girl's name at a nightclub, Hardik just said: I like to watch and observe how they move. I'm little from the Black side so I need to see how they move. He further dwelled into his sex life saying: "When I lost my virginity, I came home and said, Main karke aaya hai aaj (I did it today)”. And coming to his relationship with his parents, he also shares how open he is with his parents and how he openly talks about his sex life with his parents: At a party my parents asked me acha tera wala (women) kaun sa hai (Which are your women)? I said yeh, yeh, yeh (pointing out women) and they were like, "Waah proud of you beta." And Karan later asked Hardik and K.L. Rahul that if they were hitting on the same women, how would they decide, Rahul replied that it would be up to the woman. Whereas with Hardik, he openly said: Nahi nahi aisa kuch nahi hai, talent pe hota hai. Jisko mila woh leke jao (Nothing like that, it's about talent, whoever gets them, takes them). Unfortunately, many Indians did not take his comment lightly, earning himself the name of being sexist and racist. I know I wrote a really long post on my opinion on the situation and I am going to write it again. Personally, I do not think that Hardik is being sexist and that he is just expressing indirectly how much fun he is having with his bachelor life because there are many bachelors who speak like how Hardik does and yet, does not intend to harm women or sound sexist. I want to ask Indian people these questions:
You know, there are so many questions that I want to ask Indian people even until today. I always wonder why is it that the country can never progress in terms of mind set. It is only because of the hypocritical and conservative mind set that most Indians have. A narrow, hypocritical and conservative mind set can only lead us to losing out in the world and the future generations. When other people are progressing and are growing well, then we are the ones held back. Being rooted to your culture does not mean that you need to think in a conservative manner or be narrow-minded. Being rooted to your culture means that you take in the Indian values that suit your personal morals and values. All you have to do is just follow what is morally and practically right in the current situation at all times, and it may not be Indian values that are always right in today's situation, if you get what I mean. Think from other people's perspective so that you do not look judgmental. Understand why people do certain things so that you can learn how to be empathetic and how you can help people around you. To prevent yourself from being a hypocrite, do not put double standard values. Treat men and women like equals and just think "If you are wrong, you are wrong. No special treatment for both men or women is allowed. If you cheated, you cheated." So that's all for Hardik Pandya's case. In fact, I can openly say that I found his comment funny because all I care about is that as long as I am not the one that I am taken advantage of, as long as I am not the girl whom men sleep around with, I am ok with that. I want to conduct myself in such a way where anybody, be it men or women, can actually respect me and admire me for who I am rather than think of me as a loose woman. Women will willingly choose to sleep with a guy before they get married. And if they do, they can't make a big hoo-ha over it or you know judge a guy for living his bachelor life because if women can choose to sleep with a guy before marriage, then a guy also has the right to choose to live a bachelor's life and party or sleep with as many women as they want before they settle down. Because at the end of the day, I am going to be answerable for my own life actions. I can't be answering why other girls slept with a man or whatever, I am not responsible for that. Everyone is responsible for their own actions and we will have to suffer whatever consequences comes our way for our actions. I believe that both men and women are equal. So, if a girl has the right to make her choices, then men would also have the right to make his choice. If it is ok for a non-celebrity human being to do whatever he or she wants, then a celebrity also has the right to live like a human being. If a womanizer like Ranveer Singh can be called the husband of the millennium, then I think a man like Ranbir Kapoor, who is in fact, much better than Ranveer Singh as a person, actually deserves to be called the boyfriend AND husband of the millennium. Which leads me to my second point. Just because Ranbir Kapoor cheated on Deepika Padukone with Katrina Kaif as he preferred Katrina over Deepika at that point of time, he gets called a playboy? Well, he is not a playboy in fact. If Ranbir was that much of a playboy, then he would have done the same thing to Katrina and dump her for Alia Bhatt. But I know that Ranbir is too classy to do such a thing. He wanted to marry Katrina Kaif and was hoping to be able to settle down with her. However, things did not work out and they just split off. They still remain respectful and cordial towards each other and behave like mature adults. It is just that he was not happy with Deepika for some reason and could not tell it to her face, thus, cheated on her with Katrina. And now Ranbir is with Alia and believe me, I have never seen him glow so much. With Alia, he becomes romantic and he spends a lot of time with Alia's parents and family as much as she does with his family because, he would never put in this much effort with Deepika or Katrina. So, I am confident that Ranbir is genuinely in love with Alia and I doubt he would break her heart. Ranbir is a human being as well and deserves to have the right partner the right way. Not by breaking marriages but, by waiting for the right person. When we are single, anything can happen. But once we are married, we have to keep to our vows because a marriage is a lifetime promise, I believe. I am pretty sure that when Ranbir wants the right life partner, he wants it to be for life and will do anything to find the right one. Believe me, I feel that Alia is right for him only because he has become softer and more expressive on his emotions. Plus, I LOVE TO SEE HIS ROMANTIC SIDE! It makes me fall in love with him over and over again. Best thing is, Ranbir does not show off too much as compared to Ranveer Singh. Why I would not pity someone like Deepika Padukone is because in my view, she is fake to the core. First of all, she ruins Ranbir's image just because he dumps her for Katrina in the past and then after that, goes and gets friendly and close to Ranbir even though she is married and also knows that he is seeing Alia? I mean, who does that with their exes? I would not do that at least. It is just making me look like a joke to the world. Secondly, Deepika is no different from Ranbir Kapoor. Before marrying Ranveer Singh in November 2018, she has had a lot of affairs, including that of Ranbir Kapoor, Siddharth Mallya and Yuvraj Singh. Thing is, when she did her video, My Choice, I just found the message ridiculous. So, the video My Choice, is meant to be for women empowerment. So, in Deepika's point of view, a woman has the right to choose to sleep around, to dump a guy as and when she wants, to be a lesbian and to commit adultery if she wants. But, if a man does the same thing, then he is called shameless, a bastard, a womanizer, a joker and all of that. For me, both men and women are the same and both have the right to do whatever they want. So, Deepika cannot get upset over the fact that Ranbir just preferred Katrina over her. And even until today, no matter how hard Deepika tries to break Ranbir and Alia up, I doubt that he will ever break up with Alia because he knows who she is as a person and her genuine love for Ranbir. I do not understand why does she like to bring her personal problems to the media. Is it to just make other people like Ranbir Kapoor or Katrina Kaif look bad? Or is it for her own benefit? And coming to her depression story, I just do not understand how having so many affairs before marrying Ranveer shows that she was in depression...? She looked happy whether she was with Siddharth Mallya or Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh... I know that people can have depression but it just never showed on Deepika's face for some reason, whether on or off screen... So sometimes, I just wonder whether she has put up a facade for depression to gain more fans or is it that she is really depressed? Nobody would get depressed for no reason unless they are clinically diagnosed to be depressed. I also do not like that she tries to overtake established actresses like Priyanka or tries to be the next Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. They are all at the next league and I can strongly assure that Deepika can never reach that level. What I also do not like about Deepika is that she makes healthy or curvy girls feel insecure. The fact that many people in Bollywood, especially the females, say that she has the goals of an ideal body, shows how "perfect" people want to become. Is being skinny perfect? Well, if it is, then by today, I would have probably gone into depression again after finally finding myself and being able to love myself and care for myself. Thanks to skinny and underweight women like Deepika, she tries to make women like Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt or even Sonakshi Sinha or Aishwarya Rai or even Priyanka Chopra look fat for that matter.
It hurts that such bodies are called ideal goals and this would kill a girl inside every day that she would lose her self-esteem and would just maybe end up killing herself because she does not have the esteem to look perfect. Girls, remember, you are perfect the way you are. All you have to do is to love yourself. Now, how you love yourself will be up in my next post. There will be a few strategies in loving yourself and accepting yourself the way you are that I will tell because I have finally come to that level after much struggle and battles with myself. Another thing is that I will not pity Deepika because of the fact that she wants everything easy on her plate. I can also say that she is not as hardworking as other actresses like Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma or Priyanka Chopra. I just feel that Deepika is a spoilt brat who wants everything her way and will do anything to bring others down and herself up. And the fact that she does not handle her own Instagram account just shows how fake she can be. And I started to know all of this post her marriage. From copying Anushka's reception look to copying the style of Anushka's wedding photos to copying different styles from different Hollywood celebrities to trying to be the best and trying to get Ranbir all to herself. I just feel so ashamed of being a fan of Deepika Padukone. Thank God she has never been my role model at least. And I thank God that I have never looked up to Ranveer Singh as my ideal man. I'd rather look up to honest bachelors than fake people who try to be good. The couple that is being talked about the most quite lately, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, known by their shipping name Ranlia, has won our hearts with their smiles and the glow on their face. At first, I was not that crazy about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. However after seeing Alia Bhatt in Sangharsh (1999), 2 States (2014) and Raazi (2018) and Ranbir Kapoor in Sanju (2018), I just fell in love with these actors and definitely look forward to seeing them doing films together beyond their upcoming film Brahmastra (2019). Talks about their relationship has been spread around ever since their appearance together at Sonam Kapoor Ahuja's wedding reception, where they both made an appearance together. However, since their kisses and hugs during the Zee Cine Awards Ceremony in 2019 and the Filmfare Awards Ceremony in 2019, we know that their relationship is official. Along with these events, Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan's posts have shown that both Ranbir and Alia are in a relationship. Neetu is very fond of Alia for her loving and nurturing personality towards the Kapoors and Soni Razdan is very fond of Ranbir for being a gentleman towards her family. Ranbir could have earned a bad name thanks to Deepika Padukone bringing out her personal problems with Ranbir, but Ranbir has proven himself that he is not that bad as how Deepika has described him. Before dating Alia Bhatt, he was serious about settling down with Katrina. However, things did not work out between Ranbir and Katrina, thus, having to split ways. Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, has met Ranbir for the first time ever since she was 11 and that is in 2004. Ever since she met him, she has developed deep feelings for Ranbir and only desired to marry Ranbir and spend her life with him. Age did not matter to her as for her, her life partner has to be like God, with whom she can show her devotional, soft side to her partner. I can totally relate to this because I would want to be devoted to my life partner. And for that, I want to be sure that yes, I can devote my life to him and no divorce can happen. Whenever I see Alia with Ranbir, I just feel so happy for her because she has never glowed as much until Ranbir entered her life. She is like on cloud nine right now and I am so happy for her. Ranbir will be the calm one who will make Alia understand everything rather than hurt her. Alia, on the other hand, will always be by Ranbir's side and make him open up his heart to her. Honestly, I can say that I have never seen Ranbir this emotional and passionate. Seeing this side of Ranbir makes me love him more and seeing Alia glow so much touches my heart very much. So that comes to my first point about what I love about them. My first point is that they are very vulnerable and emotional with each other and that they keep their dignity together. I think someone who makes you vulnerable and comfortable is someone you should be with. Someone whom you can smile with whenever you are down is someone you should be with. If that person is genuine and puts in a lot of effort in a relationship, be with that person and never let him or her go. Do not take your partner for granted as well. So, this leads me to my second point. When both Ranbir and Alia are serious about their partners, they will put in their all into the relationship without neglecting their work. Both Ranbir and Alia know how to keep a balance between their personal and professional life and keep their focus on work well. When it comes to their respective films, Alia and Ranbir will only think of improving in their films. Not just in terms of acting, but dancing as well. They are people who want to prove that star kids can make their own identity with acting as well and not just live under the identity of being "Rishi Kapoor's son" or "Mahesh Bhatt's Daughter". And, I really respect them for devoting themselves to their work and not wanting to give up and always being very positive. The third thing that I like about them is that they are very genuine. You can just tell automatically when someone is being fake and when someone is being genuine. Your gut feeling will guide you in helping you to identify who is real and who is fake as a person. Alia is just her bubbly and confident self in interviews and Ranbir knows how to maintain his composure, yet remains calm and confident. I can just say that two different personalities can compliment each other. Ranbir can keep Alia calm and Alia can make Ranbir more expressive. As they say, opposites attract. There are just so many things that I love about this couple that I can't stop going crazy over them. And frankly speaking, Ranbir's parents were not that fond of Deepika and Katrina that much as compared to their fondness for Alia, meaning that Rishi and Neetu prefer Alia to be their daughter-in-law for a reason. This picture above shows how comfortable Ranbir is with Alia. What I also like about Alia is that she is not a dominating girl who will ruin the family bonds of Ranbir Kapoor and that rather, she would just join in and celebrate everything with his family as well. And Ranbir also values family highly, whether it is his or Alia's family. He will make sure that none of Alia's family bonds will break and that his own family bonds will not break. From this, I can tell that he likes girls who are not dominating, who are confident, who are genuine and those who value family highly. I am literally dying to see them get married because after two failed relationships, I think Ranbir deserves to be very happy and Alia, given her genuine love for Ranbir since she was 11, deserves to be with a lovely guy like Ranbir. I do not think that Ranbir is that bad as a man as how the media has portrayed him to be. Ranbir is a man with class and he knows how to handle the media in a mature and classy way. Kudos to him for that.
So, concluding this post, I am eagerly waiting to see Ranbir and Ali getting married as soon as possible because I want to celebrate that Ranbir has finally got a lovely girl as his potential life partner. They are just made for each other. They look too sweet together I am just smiling with tears of joy deep inside. I hope they last long together. Now, what is exactly makes a woman a woman of worth? Well, she could be a self-made person who has climbed all the way to the top without coming from a star family. Now, even if you come from a family of actors or musicians or filmmakers, if you climb up to the top because of your talent and not your godfathers or godmothers in the industry, you are a woman of worth. There are just many things that makes a woman a woman of worth. The way she reacts to things, how she carries herself and all of that. These are the women who actually are the "Woman of worth." Basically, a Woman of Worth is somebody who knows her value, who has self-respect and dignity, who knows where she stands and who actually respects herself and other people. There are women who inspire others and who deserves to be known as the Woman of Worth. There are some who do not deserve the title but still get it. These are the Indian women who have proven that they are the Woman of Worth. Priyanka Chopra JonasPriyanka is definitely a woman of worth! Having made a mark for herself not only in India, but in America as well. She has climbed her way to the top without any star backing. Ever since she relocated to America, she has become a role model not only for Indians, but for Americans as well due to her strong roles in Hollywood and Bollywood, that brought her fame up. Another way she has inspired women is through the Miss World Pageant in the year of 2000, where Priyanka was crowned Miss World. Priyanka's question was who she considered the most successful woman alive during that time and why. Priyanka answered, "There are a lot of people I admire, but one of the most admirable people is Mother Teresa, who has been so compassionate, considerate and kind." With her new YouTube series called "If I Could Tell You Just One Thing", she aims to inspire girls to bring out the best in females and to inspire them to do something that unleashes their energy. Madhuri Dixit NeneBorn to Maharashtrian Brahmin parents, Madhuri Dixit made her mark in Indian Cinema through her dance skills. Being known as the dancing exponent in Bollywood, she has inspired many Indian girls to take up dancing classes to unleash their energy inside them and express themselves and to be who they are or who they want to be. Aishwarya Rai BachchanAishwarya Rai is definitely a woman of worth! From the way she conducts herself to the way she speaks with confidence and dignity to the way she dresses, Aishwarya shows us that we need not always be skinny just to look good. Aishwarya has embraced herself the way she is and always enjoys living in the moment because at the end of the day, the love that she needs is the love from herself because she believes that there is no point in constantly satisfying the paps or people around her. Anushka SharmaAnushka is one of the strongest and finest women of India that we have and we are definitely proud of her. Anushka's vibes is not so feminine in a sense that she is not a damsel in distress, but that does not mean that she loses her grace and confidence in her body language. Anushka is a strong woman in the way she conducts herself. When Ranveer Singh (Anushka Sharma's ex-boyfriend, who is now married to Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone) dumped Anushka for Deepika, she was hurt for sure. But what makes Anushka more classy and stronger than Deepika? The fact that Anushka never shamed or ruined Ranveer's image to the media with her personal problems. This has made me respect Anushka more. Probably much more than I respect Deepika Padukone. For Deepika's case, when she has done this to Ranbir's image just because Ranbir cheated on her with Katrina in the past, I just felt Deepika was really childish and had no class and was an insecure person. After seeing how much validation she needs and how many compliments Deepika needs to feel secure, I just can't call Deepika Padukone a Woman of Worth. She is just one of those insecure women who needs validation 24/7, especially from her contemporaries, whether they are male or female. Deepika just tries to be graceful and all of that just to take over her contemporaries and to be the next Aishwarya Rai, which I do not find cute at all. Alia BhattAlia, I would say, is a Woman of Worth despite coming from a family who works in Bollywood ONLY BECAUSE she has proven that not all star kids take Bollywood for granted. Taking Bollywood for granted in the sense that they just get into films just because of their sugar daddy or whatsoever. She has proven that there are star kids who are talented and who can succeed in the Industry with their talent. Karishma Kapoor is a star kid, however, could not prove her worth as much as her younger sister, Kareena Kapoor Khan could. This has proven that not all star kids are talented and the most important things one needs to succeed in the film industry would be your talent and looks. Alia may have looked like she was not able to act ever since her official acting debut in Student Of The Year (2012). However, she has only worked hard and improved her acting skills through 2 States (2014), Udta Punjab (2016), Dear Zindagi (2016), Raazi (2018) and her most recent, Gully Boy (2019). See these films and you know what I mean. And not just her acting skills, she has proven that she could be the next Madhuri Dixit in the making through her dancing skills. Alia was able to dance to The Disco Song from Student Of The Year. But ever since Student Of The Year and her most recent song from her upcoming film, Kalank (2019), she has taken the risk and tried a Classical Item and did Kathak for that song. Though her Kathak is not perfect, Madhuri appreciated her attempt and first try at Classical Dancing and said that she could see a young Madhuri Dixit in Alia Bhatt, which is the biggest compliment any actress could get from Bollywood's dancing exponent. This will motivate Alia Bhatt to work harder and take her efforts to another level in her future films. I hope to see Alia Bhatt flourish and overtake Deepika Padukone in the long run as she is a really hardworking and confident actress who will work her butts off to become the best. Taapsee PannuThough Taapsee Pannu came from the South Indian film industry, she has made her mark in Bollywood through strong female roles. She picks scripts that have a great story and that have a good message for audiences to pick up from the movie. She is one of those females who would go for substance over fame as she knows that the storylines you pick are going to be remembered for a long time rather than the big stars in the film. Katrina KaifThough Katrina Kaif is weak in acting, there are films which proved her worth in acting. One of those films would be Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and another film would be Zero, which released last December. Other than Deepika Padukone, Katrina is also Ranbir Kapoor's ex-girlfriend. But, what makes Katrina Kaif better than Deepika Padukone as a person? The fact that Katrina never tried to ruin Ranbir's image to the media because she knows that she would be stooping very low and ruining the upbringing her mother has given to her. Katrina was wise enough to take time to recover from her break-up with Ranbir and just move on with life and wait for the right guy to approach her. I hope the Lord blesses Katrina with an amazing partner one day. Sonakshi SinhaSonakshi Sinha has broken her image of being the Princess Belle of Bollywood with her 2016 film Akira. She has grown from playing innocent roles into playing girls who are confident, who are trying to find themselves, to those who are Crime Investigators or fighters for that matter. She has proven that she can literally do any kind of role and pull them off. Kareena Kapoor KhanDespite coming from a famous film family in India, Kareena has proven her worth through the films she has done. Though she has started off her career with innocent roles, she started to pick roles with substance and impact life such as that of Veere Di Wedding (2018), Heroine (2012), Ki & Ka (2016) and Udta Punjab (2016). Vidya Balan Roy KapurHaving come up to stardom without big stars or directors and doing mostly women-oriented films, Vidya Balan has proven that anyone can be an established actor or actress without a big star. Your talent and a good script is all that is needed to become successful in the long run. Bipasha Basu Singh GroverThough Bipasha is more well-known as a Fitness Influencer than a Bollywood Actress, Bipasha has made her mark in Bollywood through her femme fatale roles. Other than her femme fatale roles, she has made her mark in Bollywood through negative characters too. She is one actress who is unconventional.
Why I say that she is unconventional is because her first film, Ajnabee, marks her debut in Bollywood. But however, she debuted with a negative role in 2001 film Ajnabee, which makes her stand out from other Bollywood actresses in that sense. Also, she has also earned herself the title of being the "Queen of Horror" as Bipasha now does Horror films 70% of the time at least or maybe all the time. Bollywood is often known for having songs that people can dance to. There are some actors where their strongest point would be dancing. Not every actor or actress would be able to dance really well. Below are some of the best dancers of Bollywood of all-time. What makes an amazing dancer is that he or she dances with grace, in any form that is. Other than grace, they have to be dancers who can do strong moves in any genre. Madhuri Dixit NeneMadhuri is one of the biggest dancers in Bollywood. She is often known to have a lot of grace when she dances and that she has a good sense of rhythm. One of my favourite songs featuring Madhuri Dixit has to be the song above, Kahe Chhed Chhed Mohe, which is a Kathak item number from the 2002 Hindi film Devdas, which is based on Lord Krishna and his chemistry with Radha. Priyanka Chopra JonasPriyanka, like Madhuri, was trained in Kathak, a classical dance form from North India, during her younger days. Through her dance in the song above called Pinga, from the 2015 Hindi film Bajirao Mastani, she has proven to be the queen of dance and expressions. Despite having bagged the supporting role of portraying Kashibai, Bajirao's first wife, she was the man of the film. Because of her, the film has received amazing reviews. Aishwarya Rai BachchanAishwarya rose up ever since Devdas happened to her. As years passed by, her dancing skills have gotten cleaner and smoother as she did more films. But before entering the Bollywood film industry, Aishwarya received training in Bharatanatyam, a classical dance form that originates from South India. Katrina KaifKatrina is not praised for her acting skills. However, she is known to be one of the best dancers in Bollywood in today's Bollywood scene. Kat is recognised for her item songs in big-budget films and her sultry moves. Hrithik RoshanWhen it comes to the best male dancers, Hrithik probably tops this list. He may not top the acting list despite being a good actor. But then, his dancing skills is what makes him stand out from other male actors. Shahid KapoorAfter Hrithik, comes in Shahid, for being another amazing male dancer of Bollywood. Like Hrithik, he knows how to groove to the moves. Ranbir KapoorRanbir is the third best male dancer of Bollywood. What makes him the third best is that though he lacks versatility, he knows how to liberate himself to a songh and just be free while he dances. He is in the moment when he dances and that is the most amazing thing about Ranbir. He feels things deeply in the moment. Special Mention: Alia BhattAlthough Alia is a junior to the actors and actresses mentioned above, she does deserve a special mention in this post only because her recent song, Ghar More Pardesiya from her upcoming film Kalank, has shown that Alia has the potential to be the next Madhuri Dixit after her. Though Alia Bhatt has learnt Bharatanatyam for her role in 2 States and Kathak for her role in Kalank, I do feel that she should take these dance forms seriously and actually hone her dancing skills and unleash that girl inside her, who wants to dance and be free.
Ranbir Kapoor is known to be the playboy of Bollywood in today's times. His number of affairs with different women have added to his image. From Sonam Kapoor to Deepika Padukone to Katrina Kaif. Until today, he is single and is not married yet, though there could be some hope for his current relationship with Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt. As per reports from the Times of India, the Kapoors and the Bhatts are planning to finalize Ranbir and Alia's wedding date once Rishi Kapoor comes back from the United States from his medical treatment. Despite his playboy image, I prefer Ranbir Kapoor not just for his work, but for his personality. Here are some reasons on why I prefer Ranbir over Ranveer Ranbir admits to his wrongdoings and does not try to look good in front of the mediaNow, Ranbir has admitted to the media that he did cheat on Deepika and he knows he was wrong in doing that. He has stated that he has done it out of immaturity. He did not try to look good in the eyes of the media and try to be fake. I know what Ranbir did was wrong morally, but still, I respect him for admitting his mistake and honesty because not many men will be able to admit that what they did was wrong because of their egos. Ranveer, on the other hand, looks good in front of the media because of the way he does everything for Deepika. Though he is madly in love with Deepika Padukone, before dating Deepika, he had a thing with Anushka. And ever since he met Deepika, he left Anushka for Deepika... Doesn't it sound similar to what Ranbir did to Deepika? It does to me at least. But Anushka was smart and intelligent enough to not shame Ranveer to the media because she knows that there will be someone better for her, and guess what? She married Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli after four years of courtship, despite the downhills in their relationship. Deepika, on the other hand, was just mean to shame Ranbir's image on season 3 episode 3 of Koffee with Karan, I think by saying that she would gift a pack of condoms to Ranbir as he uses them too much. That was just so not cute at all. But you know what makes Ranbir different from Ranveer? Ranbir would be himself by admitting that he did do a wrong thing. Whereas Ranveer just tries to look good in front of the media and act like he did not do anything wrong. Plus, Ranbir would not shame any actress, which makes him look better than Deepika. I know that anything can happen when we are single and unmarried, but at least admit that you did something. Why try to look good just to cover up for your faults? You get my point? Akshay Kumar, in the 1990s, also had a baggage of being known as the Casanova of Bollywood. His first affair was with Raveena Tandon and he broke off his engagement for Shilpa Shetty. Then, while being in an affair with Shilpa Shetty, he developed an instant crush on Twinkle Khanna and ditched Shilpa. He eventually got serious with Twinkle because he knew that Twinkle was the kind of woman he wants to spend his life with and is committed to her even until today. In Koffee with Karan, he has explained that he was not ashamed of his casanova image because he is a grown man who is single and not married at that time. Of course, being a casanova does add to a girl's fears and all of that, but what matters most is the way you treat her and how serious you are about her. I am sure Twinkle knew about Akshay's past. But she still accepted him because she values how Akshay treats her and not what people say. Click here for Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's love story and how it blossomed into marriage. You think Alia Bhatt does not know about Ranbir's love affairs? I am sure she does, but you know why she can still accept Ranbir for who he is? Because she knows there is something more than what is written about Ranbir and she has liked him ever since she was 11 years old, where she met Ranbir for the first time in 2004. I do hope that Ranbir and Alia's relationship does blossom into love though. Ranbir knows how to be humorous, yet keep his composureNow, how you dress is one part of your personality. It defines who you are as a person. Ranveer's fashion sense above shows that he is quirky and unique, but hyperactive and loud. He wears uber-loud prints that actually makes him stand out from the crowd in Bollywood today. His prints also shows that he is energetic, but also someone who can't control his hyperactivity and maybe is childish to a certain extent. Ranveer is loud and hyper as a person, whereas Ranbir is calm, classy and composed yet fun. Ranbir, on the other hand, is one of the most fashionable actors in today's Bollywood scene. However, he is not loud in his fashion sense. He is cool, elegant and knows how to dress his age. He wears colours that would make him look good, but those that are also not too loud. Ranbir also has a great sense of humour, as seen in Koffee With Karan season 4 episode 2, where he was asked what he would do if he woke up as Ranveer Singh. Ranbir replied, "I would shake my dandruff" and does Ranveer's signature move of shaking your hair from Ram Leela, a 2013 Hindi Film starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as lead actors of the film. That answer was the answer that made Ranbir seal the Koffee hamper of the episode. I am sure if you ask men around who are in their 20s, most men would prefer Ranbir Kapoor's fashion sense only because it will make them look good and that they can look classy as well. I even did a poll on my personal Instagram page and asked who has a better fashion sense, Ranbir or Ranveer? 67% of my survey takers chose Ranbir for his elegance and maturity in his sense of dressing. Ranbir does not objectify women, unlike Ranveer SinghI used to like and respect Ranveer Singh as a person, until recently. What exactly did Ranveer do to make me lose my respect for him? Well, he made a disgusting statement about Deepika Padukone, thinking that he is expressing his love to her. On an episode in Film Companion with Jitesh Pillai, when Ranveer was asked on cheating and infidelity, Ranveer stated that he has bagged himself the topmost chick and he doesn’t have anything to worry about. I mean, he is 33 and married and still objectifies Deepika? I was disappointed. But then, Deepika is so dependent and insecure that she constantly needs such compliments to believe that her man loves her. I feel bad for her, but that is what she wants. But it also shows that Deepika is dumb and can't see that Ranveer is making her look like a trophy wife for him. I guess they were made for each other due to their low IQ and their trend of thoughts? Ranbir, on the other hand, despite cheating on Deepika with Katrina earlier, has never said such a thing about either of his exes. He would say that he has high respect for them as a person and that they are stunning and beautiful people. I guess Ranbir is trying to grow into a real man, as what his parents taught him to be. Ranbir is the kind of person who probably does not overdo his expression of love, unlike Ranveer. Expressing too much love to the world does make your love look fake to fans, I believe. Ranveer, from wanting to change his surname to Padukone (when he has not in fact) to moving in to her house and starting to spend less time with his family to be with Deepika and her family more rather than getting both families together to enjoy things together to eating her Rasam and Rice 24/7... I think that is just overrated. It is overrated for me, at least. I believe that both sides need to give equal importance to both families and of course, we can keep both surnames, our maiden surname and our spouse's surname (For the girls). Anushka Sharma has not changed her surname post her marriage, but does not expect Virat Kohli to change his surname for her. She also did not force him to become a vegetarian. In fact, they both became vegetarian at the same time as both of them were thinking about it on their own. Virat Kohli has even stated that after he became a vegan of his own will, it has helped him in his cricket matches by improving his performance. Ranbir does not go overboard in his films, yet remains passionate about his art of actingRanbir Kapoor is known as Bollywood's chocolate boy in today's generation of actors. So, people would expect him to pick films that are light-hearted and comical. However, Bombay Velvet was one such film that got Ranbir to step out of his comfort zone. This was also his first film where he was paired opposite Anushka Sharma. Though it was crirically successful, the film is a commercial failure due to the lack of masala in the film. Ranbir did not feel anything bad when he heard that his film was a failure but was glad that he could do this film to prove that he is not just a chocolate boy. Another film that proved that Ranbir is extremely hardworking is Sanju, the Sanjay Dutt biopic film which released in 2018, which was also directed by Rajkumar Hirani. To prepare for his role of Sanjay Dutt in the film, Ranbir had to take a month's break between every phase of the preparation for the role. It took him a year at least, to be able to portray Sanjay Dutt perfectly on screen from how he looks to how he walks and talks, his voice and his body language. So, we all know that Ranbir has worked really hard for this film. When I saw Sanju, I was in the moment and not one moment in the film I thought that it was Ranbir Kapoor portraying Sanjay Dutt. I just asked myself if Sanjay Dutt was in the film. That was how fantastic Ranbir was in the film. Ranveer Singh also worked hard for the villainous role in Padmaavat by keeping himself isolated in a room for three weeks to get into that negative, shady character of Khilji. Which is also something not easy for Ranveer to do, as we all know that he is a hyperactive and vibrant person. The energy and passion is visible in Ranveer's acting and sometimes, it can go overboard. Ranbir, on the other hand, knows how to adjust his energy levels well in his films. Yet, his passion for acting shows through his efforts and his liberation on-screen and how he just makes roles look very easy. But we don't know what Ranbir has to go through to prepare for his respective roles. Even on one of the episodes of Season 6 Koffee With Karan, Baahubali 2 Actors Rana Daggubati and Prabhas and Telugu Director Rajamouli have expressed that Ranbir is a more talented actor than Ranveer, after being asked who is more talented. They must have watched Padmaavat and Sanju and just preferred Ranbir over Ranveer. Both Ranbir and Ranveer are very hardworking in the film industry. However, I think after seeing Sanju, my respect for Ranbir has gone up not just as an actor, but as a person as well. For being really passionate about his work and for being a hardworking person. Ranveer is passionate as an actor, but I feel his efforts can never match up to that of Ranbir Kapoor's. But I do think that Ranveer was fantastic in Padmaavat.
Ranbir cannot do what Ranveer does and Ranveer cannot do what Ranbir does. Both of them being immensely talented actors, will be high competition for each other in 2019 for Padmaavat and Sanju respectively. But I really hope that Ranbir wins the Best Actor Award for Sanju. If he does not, I would know that the award ceremonies in India would be a hoax and is just full of partial preferences and politics. I would be very pissed and upset as a whole. This is off topic but I really love Ranbir and Anushka's chemistry on-screen ever since Sanju and Bombay Velvet, I have not seen Ae Dil Hai Mushkil but I will. They just remind me of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol's on-screen chemistry and could possibly just be the next SRK-Kajol jodi of Bollywood. It is a pleasure seeing them both together in films and I hope that they do more films in the future together. |
